Ver-Tax was founded by S.L. (Sara) Verkaik LLM.

Sara Verkaik worked for several years at a tax law firm as a tax lawyer.

She has successfully completed the Master’s degree in Tax Law and Criminal Law  at Leiden University. Beside that she took the course Sales tax at Tilburg University. Sara also completed in 2023 the professional education (sales tax) of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB). She is also an author at NLFiscaal since October 2018 and writes annotations to court decisions on formal tax law in the weekly edition.
